Sorensen Farms has been raising sheep for over 25 years. Originally founded by Stewart and Susanne Sorensen it has now been carried into the next generation by their daughter and her family Robert, Emily, Steven, and Morgan Lindsey.

We focus on a family approach utilizing the knowledge that we all possess from different backgrounds to raise our sheep the best way we know how; all natural, all the time. We never use grain products with the sheep, we utilize friendly weed control and a balanced medicine approach using as much as we can that earth has supplied such as garlic and kelp.

Our Sheep

We focus our efforts on raising purebreed Romney sheep and Anatolian dogs that are used for protection purposes. Romney sheep are known for their wonderful wool and tender meat. They are grass fed and receive organic alfalfa pellets with kelp as supplements when needed. We utilize a natural approach for internal parasite control drenching with garlic quarterly in a liquid form and keeping clean, healthy animals within the flock. Only quality stock are kept for breeding yearly and new breeding stock is brought in as needed from specifically chosen flocks.
